Guest post by Jared Kleinert. What do you do when you have access to the world’s smartest and most talented people at or under 20 years old? You have them write their own inspirational life anecdotes and put them together in a book of course!!! But WHY do you do this? That is the important part. The harsh reality is that there are 2 billion people in the world who are currently under 20, and out of those 2 billion who will shape the future and solve the world’s most pressing problems, only an extremely tiny percentage of them are acting wholeheartedly on their passions. Because of the financial struggles our parents have gone through, the constant turmoil in the world from the “war on terror” to continuous unrest in the Middle East, and the seemingly impossible drain of high tuition rates that make it impossible for teens to plan a life without a mountain of debt from higher education among other factors, our generation has more obstacles to a bright future than a lot of generations have had in the past. Yet, at the end of the day in a time where technology has made the speed of innovation incredibly fast for young people, we still have a few bright spots.
