Offering: Access to charging is the number one barrier to buying an electric vehicle. There is not enough coverage. Apartment dwellers cannot get reliable access to overnight charging. Current infrastructure is too cumbersome for widespread deployment to charge everywhere you work, dine, and shop.
We are building a dynamic peer-to-peer platform for electric vehicle (EV) charging. Power Hero will allow users to list existing electricity so it can be reserved and purchased by drivers. Whether it be a private level-2 charger or a simple outdoor power outlet, we make existing infrastructure ‘public’ with smart-apps and simple, connected hardware.
If the EV market can grow to 20% vehicle share, we can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 230M metric tons per year. We believe Power Hero will demonstrate that peer-to-peer economy-sharing can outpace brute-force infrastructure! Our solutions and community-based approach will allow the EV market to grow without restrictions.

Anecdote: Our team is small but we have roots globally. We developed our first hardware prototype in Singapore and the test software in the US. In our first proof-of-concept we were controlling power access 10,000 miles away. It was an awesome moment and gave us a sense of how big our solution can be.It gave us a renewed sense of purpose and drive. The ability to deploy millions of charge points all over the world felt real and the potential felt limitless.
