Teens Act, represented by Saeko Logsdom, its Managing Director, won two grants totaling $5,500 from Utah Valley University today. A $5,000 award was based on judging by a panel that considered several applicants and a $500 award was based on voting by the conference participants at the 2012 Social Summit.

Teens Act is an organization that helps disadvantaged kids to prepare for college, providing tutoring and ACT test prep courses.

When Saeko was presented with the news that she would receive both awards, she was completely overwhelmed. It was a fun moment to see her react to the news. For her young charity, it was both a double honor and an invaluable infusion of cash!
