For the debut, Supportful is teaming up with Gilda’s Club NYC, an organization founded in 1995 in tribute to Saturday Night Live cast member Gilda Radner, who died of ovarian cancer in 1989. The club was founded to help cancer patients, their families and friends build emotional and social support systems as a supplement to medical care.
