Well-written without sugar-coating. The honesty and transparency is what we all yearn for and I am grateful for General Martin's service- both in the military and in healthcare. I am hopeful he will be joined soon by many others as our society works to make as many good strides in mental health than have been made in physical health.
I had the privilege of working with General Martin both before and when he was at NDU. he was one of the few leading officers who were willing and eager to listen to what we peacebuilders had to say about iraq and more. Although I have not seen him since, it is clear that what he has done since then took even more courage and made even more of a contribution to our country.
