This post was originally produced for Forbes. Santa Clara University is a relatively small Jesuit college located in Silicon Valley. A few years ago, when they set out to touch 1 billion lives through their social entrepreneurship programs by 2020 that might have seemed, shall we say, “optimistic” for a school with just 8,000 students. The 75 million people they’ve helped so far certainly aren’t laughing.
